Winter decor around the store

While I love the store in all of its "season's", I'm actually very fond of the look of it this time of the year.  Once the Christmas decor is cleared away and things are a bit more sparse, you can see more.

It always feels to me like you can see MORE of the store.  Less is more.  And the simplicity allows many of our products to be really seen and to shine.

I love these grey and white gingham dishes.  Perfect as a neutral, mixes great with vintage ironstone.  Pretty piled into a pine hutch, as we have here.

Another fresh pick for the the winter doldrums are these cute bottled sets.  Perfect on their own, a great mix of glass and antiqued tin.  A single flower or stem can add a touch of color.  Several gathered on a table make a great centerpiece.  There are three different sizes.

Gathered in a bowl, several nests can be effective as a floral arrangement or center piece.  A few twigs or stems can make a beautiful winter statement.

And of course, nests.  We do love nests.  And we are still happy in love with burlap.  Again, another great neutral this time of year that will make a great transition to Spring.

So don't feel like there are no decorating possibilities for this time of year.  Embrace the clean, sparse look of your home.  Add a few neutral pieces and know that Spring is just around the corner!

Tan Forsythia, nests and bits of silver make a great statement in your home for winter.
