Beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Elegant bedding

These new candles smell fantastic!

And if Juniper Thyme is not for you, then Orange and Clove is equally yummy and festive.

Our tree in the front of the store is a delight in red and white.

We loved these adorable wine bottle covers.

Red and white dishes…perfect for the holiday.

Playful elves have Santa's list at the ready.

Time to think about the sleigh ride!

Cocoa's, cookies, hand soaps, tea towels and more!

These perfect little stocking stuffers smell wonderful!  And at $4.95 a bar, a great hostess gift.

Local 3rd Graders helped to fill our post office box with adorable envelopes addressed to the Big Guy himself

Each year, I think the store just can't look any prettier.  And this year is no exception.  The front of the store is awash in the traditional reds and greens of Christmas, one side elegant and one side very fun and aimed at the kids and those who're kids at heart.

Come make it a part of your holiday tradition to shop and dine with us!

Lunch With Us and then Shop!

Our beautiful restaurant.

Our Award winning cookbook.

Our line of jams, coffee, corn relish and other food items make great gifts.

Enjoy lunch with us and then shop and find something wonderful in our gift store.

Frasier Fir by Thymes is a great scent for the holiday.

As is the wonderful Christmas fragrance of Fig and Grapefruit and Barr-Co.

We just got in this gorgeous new line of silver kitchen utensils, platters, servers and more.  Beautiful pieces for yourself or for Christmas giving.

The center of the store is like a magical, woodland scene.  Browns, greens and silvers make a wonderful change from the usual red and green.  Not that we don't have red and green.

From wee frosted cabins, to silver glittered birds and antler horns, your tree can be full of woodland magic this year.

But get here quick, the magic is going fast!

The Season of Fall, Pie and Pumpkins!

Cooler temps have FINALLY arrived here in Texas, along with our goodies for Fall and Christmas!  Our center table is set with Fall and Thanksgiving pie making in mind.

Two of my new favorite things in the store are this wonderful book, "What Katie Ate".  Gorgeous photography, great typography and just good recipes, make this a book you will turn to again and again.  I love it.  And to make your pie...Pie Birds!  And this great vintage look pie sign, is my other favorite goodie.  Great for a that cute bit of vintage in any kitchen.

The front counter is awash in black, orange and glitter.  Cute decor, cookies and fun things for Halloween.  And speaking of pie, our Spicy Pumpkin Pie Candles are going fast!

Cookies!  Witches Hats, Pumpkins and wee little ghosts!  The perfect treat to go with your coffee.

Straws are always fun for a Halloween party!

In the front of our store, we have a wonderful rolling wagon that we have filled to the brim with pumpkins, mum's, leaves and burlap.

Ladies Night this month was a great bit of fun as several local authors joined us for a evening of refreshments and book talk.

Ladies Night is every second Saturday of the month, with late night shopping from 5 pm to 8 pm.  With over 20 stores and all restaurants in the Downtown area participating, this is a great evening to stroll, shop and enjoy the downtown area.

Other events this month include the Bob Phillips Festival on 10/26 and Trick or Treat on the Square on 10/31.  For more events in the downtown area, click here.

Come by the store to see all the wonderful new goodies for Fall!

Pumpkins, Fall and Hot Weather

Here in Texas, the calendar may say "Fall", but Mother Nature is still in Summer mode, with "90-something" degree temps.

It's a little hard to think bonfires and hot cocoa, when what I really want is a tall glass of ice cold Spice Tea and the AC blowing full blast.

But hopefully cooler temps will be here soon.  And with that thought in mind, it did make me feel a little cooler to be putting out pretty pumpkins and Fall decor.  Pumpkins...we've got gorgeous pumpkins in.

Pretty pale pumpkins in all different sizes and wonderful shapes.  Wee bay wreaths that are the perfect touch for Fall (and Christmas) and of course, all our wonderful candles are back in stock.  We've got a couple of new scents for you to try as well.

And we love a touch of "french".  Large wooden bowls, metal cages, oversized baskets and more.

I chose a pale color scheme for Fall this year.  Cool grey greens, earthy black green, touches of cream, black and silver.  Elegant and beautiful.

Come by and see us!
